Telecommunications Rigger and Team Lead

HRG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Rigger and Team Lead to join our team in Perth, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site operations and team leadership for maintenance, upgrades, and strengthening of structures
  • Interpret technical design documents and install equipment as per design
  • Assist technicians in installation, fault-finding, and rectification of equipment
  • Perform testing using PIM Tester, Spectrum Analyzer, Sitemaster, Fibrescope, and light source on Fibre cables

About the Role:

  • Relevant tickets for rigging (basic being a minimum) and High Risk works required
  • Australian driving license and flexibility to travel required
  • Experience working with Telstra, TPG, and Optus (4G/5G equipment) an advantage
  • Experience testing using PIM Tester, Spectrum Analyzer, Sitemaster, Fibrescope, and light source on Fibre cables an advantage
  • Strong commitment to HSE and a healthy and safe working environment required

As a Telecommunications Rigger and Team Lead, you will be part of a leading Telecommunications Service Provider with over a decade of experience in Australia. You will work with a team of experts who understand the daily challenges of the role and are committed to delivering projects safely and correctly.

With a focus on safety and quality, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations and team leadership for maintenance, upgrades, and strengthening of structures. You will also interpret technical design documents and install equipment as per design, assist technicians in installation, fault-finding, and rectification of equipment, and perform testing using PIM Tester, Spectrum Analyzer, Sitemaster, Fibrescope, and light source on Fibre cables.

We are looking for someone with relevant tickets for rigging (basic being a minimum) and High Risk works, an Australian driving license, and flexibility to travel. Experience working with Telstra, TPG, and Optus (4G/5G equipment) and testing using PIM Tester, Spectrum Analyzer, Sitemaster, Fibrescope, and light source on Fibre cables are advantages.
