Mental Health Clinician

About the Role
Uniting is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Youth Access Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing holistic health care to young people aged 12-25 years.
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Mental Health Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy, and AHPRA Registration or eligibility with AASW. You will have demonstrated experience in clinical practice within the mental health field, including triage and assessment of individuals with a preference for assessment skills in a mental health setting.
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work closely with local community and partner youth and health services to provide integrated care. You will be responsible for conducting intake and assessment of young people presenting to the service, including complex risk assessments and action plans to mitigate any identified risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake and assessment of young people presenting to the service
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of consumers
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic health care
- Provide evidence-based clinical practice and triage and assessment of individuals
