We are seeking nurses to join our dedicated Oncology team.

The Position

Compassionate and skilled nurses are required to provide high-quality patient care and supervision.

  • Nursing Requirements:
    • Interview and examine patients, documenting assessment findings.
    • Promote an environment of confidence, confidentiality, and respect while identifying potential problems with patients and their families.
    • Assess and document the needs of patients during and following hospitalization.
    • Monitor diagnostic procedures and investigations, and assist in assessing complicated nursing problems.
  • Nurse Responsibilities:
    • Plan and implement nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of patients.
    • Consider patient comfort and safety, and promote a positive atmosphere.
    • Assist patients with daily activities and encourage self-care.
    • Prepare patients for specialized treatments and maintain a high standard of care.

Suitable applicants will be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority as a registered or enrolled nurse, have a commitment to quality patient care, and possess excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

They will also demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' clinical experience, preferably in oncology or palliative care, or an interest in these areas.

  • Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.
  • Commitment to quality patient care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Minimum 2 years' clinical experience, preferably in oncology or palliative care.
