Job DescriptionThis role will be part of the financial markets product team, building out our capabilities that ultimately enable our customers to transact and operate globally. You will be responsible for leading high-impact projects from ideation to launch.
The team is focused on exposing our underlying FX capabilities to markets, and working closely with internal stakeholders and teams to ensure funds are made available where and when they are required to meet our obligations to customers, partners, and regulators.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of critical financial markets infrastructure and capabilities for both internal corporate needs and customer-facing product teams.
- Work closely with the Treasury team to deliver capabilities that optimize liquidity, efficiently manage risks, and provide adequate reporting and control.
- Work closely with other product domains to build out solutions that allow product domains to access critical financial services with little intervention.
- Define and lead the strategy for Foreign Exchange management at Airwallex, including partner management, business architecture, and Pricing and execution integrations with global financial institutions.
- 8+ years of overall professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher with exemplary academic achievements.
- Computer Science, Mathematics, or Finance education.
- Financial Advisory or Consulting experience.
- Markets experience, which may extend beyond traditional financial markets.
- Experience building solutions and delivering capability to market, including Product Management experience.
