The Role

At Airwallex, we embrace a Product-centric approach. Our Product team integrates commercial strategy, engineering, design, and financial compliance to deliver a diverse product suite to customers around the world. As a Product Lead, you will oversee a team of Product Managers and take ownership of a product or a collection of products throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Define the product vision for Airwallex, encompassing strategy, solution design, roadmap, and delivery plans.

2. Collaborate across various product domains to spearhead cross-functional initiatives and utilize all elements of the Airwallex product suite.

3. Work closely with target users, commercial teams, senior leadership, design, go-to-market, and engineering to actualize our product offerings.

4. Shape product strategy and direction by thoroughly understanding user needs, target markets, and the competitive landscape.

5. Rapidly iterate on new product launches, feature improvements, and user feedback.

6. Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in Product Management, including go-to-market strategies, product design, planning, and development.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of formal experience in people management.
  3. Experience balancing user needs with commercial strategies to drive significant product growth.
  4. Demonstrated ability to take products from ideation to delivery, preferably on a global scale.
  5. Capability to navigate complex trade-offs between long-term product vision and short-term growth objectives.
  6. Adept at thriving in data-driven, cross-functional teams that can swiftly transform ideas into reality.
  7. Willingness to work across multiple time zones.
  8. Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating product strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  9. Experience in hyper-growth startup environments, software engineering, or financial technology is advantageous.
