Experienced Field Service Technician Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a field service technician.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading manufacturers of construction and mining equipment, providing industry-leading after-sales service and reliable solutions.

  • Assemble, maintain, and repair a wide range of mining and construction equipment to customer specifications.
  • Provide quality diagnostic and general maintenance services in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Repairing and maintaining both new and used equipment.
  • Conducting basic failure analysis and identifying specific modes of failure.
  • Preparing and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipment.
  • Ensuring all work carried out is performed in a safe manner.
  • Completing and submitting all relevant paperwork and reports.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment in line with 5S standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant Mechanical Trade qualification or Commercial Vehicle trades equivalent.
  • Previous experience with the assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on construction and/or mining equipment.
  • High Risk Work licences (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc.) - highly regarded.
  • A safety focus with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.
  • Good communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work.
