The Opportunity

Assembling, maintaining, and repairing various mining and construction equipment to customer specifications while providing quality diagnostic and general maintenance services in a professional and timely manner is a key responsibility of this role.

This role involves working with new and used equipment, conducting basic failure analysis and identifying specific modes of failure, preparing and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipment, evaluating work for safe completion, submitting relevant paperwork and reports, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace in line with 5S standards.

Responsibilities:

To Succeed in this Role:
  • Hold a relevant Mechanical Trade qualification
  • Prior experience with assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on construction and/or mining equipment
  • Hold High Risk Work licenses (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc)
  • Understand Workplace Health and Safety principles
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to delivering high-quality work
