Job Title

A strategic professional responsible for the successful submission of bids and ensuring compliance with business development processes.

This role requires strong leadership skills to manage bid teams, develop robust strategies, and engage key stakeholders to win bids.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure bid team adherence to business development processes.
  • Provide guidance to keep bids on track, ensure solid strategy, and engage the right team to secure wins.
  • Coordinate and lead bid team meetings and schedule bid development.
  • Collaborate with geographical leads to translate capture planning into bid development and deliver the bid on time, to high quality.
  • Work with the bid team to finalize bid commercials and pricing strategies.
  • Contribute to drafting partner and consultant agreements.
  • Provide input into the written contributions of the bid drafts.
  • Manage review processes and ensure that reviewer feedback is adequately collated and responded to.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of business development processes and collaboration across the business with the centralized BD function.
  • Adopt and model best practices in business development processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement in BD quality.
">About You

You will have previously worked in a similar role within a consulting or project management environment. Ideally, you will have experience in bid writing from donor organizations or DFAT.

">Additional Key Requirements:
  • Project management/process management background.
  • People management and coaching experience; able to create bid teams, manage the team, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
