The State Government is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to provide leadership in the delivery of project management consulting services.

About the Role

This challenging opportunity requires a proactive and results-driven project leader with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Manage end-to-end project activities including design, documentation, contract administration, and delivery.
  • Provide effective leadership and mentoring to project staff and consultants.
  • Oversee contract coordination across traditional and non-traditional systems.
  • Ensure projects meet scope, time, cost, cash-flow, quality, and profitability targets.
  • Lead negotiations with stakeholders to achieve value-for-money outcomes.
  • Monitor project performance, prepare reports, and conduct audits.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures.

A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning, or Quantity Surveying is highly regarded but not essential.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in managing complex building projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
