We are seeking a seasoned Business Development expert to lead our go-to-market efforts and accelerate growth in the Australian market for cloud solutions.
- Lead sales strategy and execution for Databricks and cloud solutions in Australia.
- Develop and implement sales plans to win new business and expand existing client relationships.
- Serve as the primary sales contact for customers and collaborate with the core sales team as a specialist.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from planning and prospecting through to deal closure.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients, build long-term partnerships, and shape growth strategies within the partner ecosystem.
- Balancing new business acquisition with account farming to maximize client value.
- Proven track record in business development and sales within a technology consultancy or data platform provider.
- Strong background in Data Analytics or Data Platforms (Databricks or Snowflake).
- A well-established network across Australian enterprise, government, and technology partners.
- Ability to understand client challenges and translate them into high-value solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen and results-driven mindset, with resilience under pressure.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a client-first approach.
- Confident in presentations, workshops, and coaching to drive engagement.
- Strategic thinker with adaptability to navigate complex environments.
