Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned IT leader to drive the adoption of cutting-edge cloud infrastructure practices and elevate the capability of our operations and development teams across the organization.

The successful candidate will design and implement secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost-optimised cloud solutions. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying cloud infrastructure environments for large and complex products through automated CI/CD pipelines and IaC templates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure environments for large and complex products using CI/CD pipelines and IaC templates.
  • Implement, develop, and document standards, processes, and frameworks to support modern DevOps release deployments across all stages and iterations of the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead system design activities for strategic, large, and complex systems development programmes.
  • Apply sound advice and guidance on Information Security practices ensuring that cloud solutions deployed are secure by design and embedded into solution architecture.
  • Leads integration work in line with agreed system and service design, measures, and monitors applications against development standards. Assesses risks and takes preventative action.
  • Through business consultation and collaboration gathers requirements and identifies functional needs, defines, and implements cloud solutions as required.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies, evaluates benefits of adopting into the department, implements, and drives adoption.
  • Identifies and mitigates risks related to cloud security, access controls, and privacy compliance/regulations. Collaborates with Security teams to implement controls, maintaining a high, compliant security posture.
