Water Infrastructure Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Infrastructure Design Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design of water infrastructure projects from concept to completion.

  • You will lead a team of engineers and designers to develop innovative solutions for complex water infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Project Management:
    • Lead the design and development of water infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
    • Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Manage project timelines and budgets.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process improvement.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • BUILD and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Understand client needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in water infrastructure design and project management.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Proven track record of delivering complex water infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
