Water Infrastructure Project Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Water Infrastructure Project Specialist to support the delivery of water infrastructure projects across Sydney.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in water treatment plants, pump stations, and water distribution networks, with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems. Key responsibilities include assisting in the planning, design, and execution of water infrastructure projects, providing technical input on electrical and mechanical systems for water treatment and distribution, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met, conducting site inspections, testing, and commissioning of equipment, ensuring compliance with Australian standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines, supporting procurement processes and reviewing technical specifications, and preparing technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project delivery.
About You:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably chartered or working towards it.
- You have solid experience across the water sector, having contributed to key infrastructure projects and collaborated with local councils or water authorities.
- You have hands-on involvement with water treatment plants, pump stations, and pipeline systems.
