The Opportunity
  • Support the design and delivery of mechanical components for water and wastewater infrastructure projects with a focus on water supply systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams and partners to contribute to planning and execution of water treatment systems.
  • Contribute to the growth of mechanical engineering in the water sector through technical excellence and quality project delivery.
  • Play an active role in developing proposals and bids supporting business development activities.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of work providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Represent the water team at external meetings and participate in internal projects and activities.
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team.

About You
  • A recognised degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with relevant experience in the water sector.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions with a focus on achieving chartership.
  • Proven experience delivering concept and detailed designs for water-related projects in a consulting environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to tackle challenges identify solutions and contribute to business growth.
