Job Summary

Hudson is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join their team in Canberra. As an HR Advisor - Employee Relations, you will play a key role in driving workplace relations, performance management, and international deployments.

About the Role

This position offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact through a wide range of HR responsibilities. You will provide expert guidance on complex industrial and workplace policy matters, support the development of performance, employment strategies, and rewards/recognition programs, and manage workplace relations and performance case management for employees and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations Expertise: Provide expert guidance on complex industrial and workplace policy matters to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management strategies to drive employee engagement and productivity.
  • Workplace Relations: Manage workplace relations and performance case management for employees and supervisors to resolve conflicts and improve working relationships.
  • International Deployments: Oversee logistical and organisational support for international deployments, including family assistance, to ensure a smooth transition for employees and their families.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the creation and improvement of employment policies to align with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on international deployments, highlighting outcomes and insights to inform future decision-making.
  • Policies and Procedures: Review and maintain internal policies, procedures, and guidelines with an international focus to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship: Must hold Australian citizenship to be eligible for this role.
  • Security Clearance: Must have security clearance to access sensitive information.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Proven knowledge and experience in employee relations, performance management, and international deployments to provide expert guidance and support.
