The Aboriginal Health Worker – Transition to Practice is a key member within our multidisciplinary team, providing flexible and culturally sensitive care to clients supporting the Aboriginal community in accessing services.
This role enables Aboriginal individuals to develop their skills and work towards meeting registration requirements with AHPRA as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner.
Responsibilities- Provide holistic and culturally sensitive care, information and support to clients.
- Assist the Aboriginal community in accessing suitable services.
- Support progress toward meeting requirements for registration with AHPRA as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner.
- Current or eligibility and intention to meet registration requirements with AHPRA; current Aboriginal Health Practitioners are encouraged to apply.
