About this role
- Primary Health Care Services:
We are seeking Aboriginal Health Practitioners to join our team. As a key member, you will provide flexible and culturally sensitive primary health care services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and their communities.
The Aboriginal Health Unit plays a crucial role in establishing relationships between patients and clinicians for best patient outcomes. You will deliver clinically competent health care and education to patients, and assist in providing education to staff for culturally appropriate service delivery.
This position is operationally responsible to the Executive Team through the Aboriginal Health Unit Manager. You will be supported by your team, the multi-disciplinary team, and the Aboriginal Health Leadership team.
- Provide primary health care services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve better health access and outcomes.
In this role, you will need to:
- Provide holistic and culturally sensitive primary health care services including direct clinical care to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve better health access and outcomes.
