Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our market access expansion efforts in Australia and New Zealand.

  • Lead reimbursement expansion and value-based access programs for these markets within the APAC Market Access team.

This role involves creating strategic market access strategies aligned with long-term company goals, as well as designing and delivering value communications for payers and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive access environment by leading HTA/guideline submissions, value-based funding programs, payer engagement, and representation on local industry bodies.
  • Collaborate with Regional Access teams to establish evidence needs and develop strategies to optimize reimbursement and product positioning.
  • Establish interactions between our organization and government entities; develop programs to support this work.
  • Report to the Director of APAC Access, Policy and Advocacy; work closely with the General Manager of Australia and New Zealand.

This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret policy documents and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant education and experience in a field such as HTA, Health Policy, Value-based Access programs, or Health Economics and Tendering.
  • Knowledge of market access for pharmaceuticals or medical devices, with a preference for diabetes experience.
  • Ability to link insights to funding and reimbursement objectives, with business, marketing, or sales experience.
