We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers across the broader Pacific region.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience in servicing complex scientific instruments and equipment. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining all Life Sciences (LSG) and Clinical Diagnostics (CDG) instruments at customer sites. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers
  • Install, test, and maintain LSG and CDG instruments at customer sites
  • Utilize ServiceMax for work order management
  • Maintain tools and test equipment in a professional manner
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electronic/Electrical/Biomedical/Mechanical) preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Life Science, Clinical Diagnostics or Biomedical service industry
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and proven customer relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, good organisation and planning skills
  • Strong team orientation
  • Problem solving ability and results driven
  • High level of skills in computer literacy and software usage
  • Current drivers licence valid in Australia
