We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD).

About the Role

The Clinical Lead will provide expert clinical and operational leadership, supervision, and oversight to the Child and Youth Mental Health Service community team. The successful applicant will exercise independent clinical judgment, initiative, and high-level problem-solving skills to provide senior clinical support to the multidisciplinary clinicians within CYMHS and to other relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and coordination to the LNS CYMHS Service
  • Attend Attachment Based Family Therapy Supervision and relevant training
  • Contribute to the clinical governance of the service and lead quality improvements and service improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively and effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, including consultation-liaison skills
  • Develop and implement clinical services or programs
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing with current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, service coordination, and support to a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in child and youth mental health clinical services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
