Job Title

We are seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team. As a key member of the workshop crew, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy diesel equipment, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy diesel engines and associated systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve optimal workshop productivity and efficiency
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing changes as needed

Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics (Australian Recognised)
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence (Minimum C-class)
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable but not essential:

  • High Risk Work License - LF
  • Aircon ticket and current Refrigerant Handling License

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or industry
  • Proven track record of maintaining high-quality work and meeting deadlines
