Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
The successful applicant will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including servicing and lubrication of equipment. They will also be required to inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other critical components.
A minimum of 3 years' experience is required, along with a Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including servicing and lubrication of equipment
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other critical components
- Hold a Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive rates and a flexible roster. A work vehicle will be provided, and discounted tool kits can be arranged if needed.
OthersPlease note that you will be required to supply your own tooling to assist in carrying out HD Fitter tasks and machinery servicing.
