Overview

3D Earthmoving (2017) Pty Ltd is a Kalgoorlie based earthmoving company and one of the largest Wet and Dry Tailings Dam lifters in Western Australia.

We are currently seeking an experienced heavy duty fitter with earthmoving machinery experience.

Day Shift ONLY

Flexible rosters

Work Vehicle provided

Competitive Rates - $70 - $90 Casual / Full-time

Duties would include;

  • Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and hydraulic systems on construction equipment and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
  • Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts on construction equipment and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
  • Routine maintenance such as servicing & lubrication
  • Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance
  • Perform periodic preventative and corrective maintenance
  • Liaise with supervisor or management
  • Mentor and train workshop apprentices

Experience with the below is desired but not essential;

  • Hitachi, CAT, Volvo, Komatsu and Doosan Excavators
  • Bobcat skid steer loader and excavator

The ideal candidate would possess the following;

  • Minimum of 3 years experience
  • Able to pass a pre employment medical and drug test
  • Clean Police Clearance
  • A minimum of a Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent

Please note you will be required to supply your own tooling to assist you in carrying out HD Fitter tasks and machinery servicing. We can assist in having it freighted to your work ute if need be. Alternatively if you don\'t have any tooling, we can assist with discounted tool kits that can be deducted from your wages.
