Accounts Payable Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Melbourne.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have a background in accounts payable with a minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for receiving and processing high volumes of supplier invoices, maintaining accurate vendor files and contact details, assisting with weekly payment runs, and supporting ad hoc finance and administration tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and processing high volumes of supplier invoices
  • Maintaining accurate vendor files and contact details
  • Assisting with weekly payment runs
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Supporting ad hoc finance and administration tasks

Key Requirements:

  • Strong accounts payable experience
  • Able to start immediately
  • Happy to commit on an ongoing temporary basis
  • Prior exposure to ERP systems
  • Friendly and approachable personality
  • Good Excel skills
