Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Procurement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

- Define strategic sourcing plans for assigned commodities
- Assemble request for quote (RFQ) packages, and execute competitive quoting and benchmarking activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product management, marketing, and engineering to implement new product launches (NPD), design changes, etc.
- Work with supplier quality teams and assigned suppliers to improve performance (quality, delivery, cost)
- Develop a pipeline of cost savings initiatives for assigned commodities through resourcing activities, supplier negotiations, and value analysis value engineering (VAVE) activities
- Foster collaboration with other procurement team members to ensure strategy optimization

Required Skills And Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or Engineering
- Demonstrated practical use of supplier management and sourcing principles
- Proven communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and management skills
- Analytical and computer-related skills
- Oracle experience is an asset
