Procurement Expert Opportunity

A dynamic and purpose-driven role exists for a procurement specialist to contribute to the delivery of critical upgrades to communications infrastructure.

This is a chance to work within a high-performing team, lead strategic procurement activity, and drive sourcing strategies that align with commercial and operational objectives.

The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and RFQ/RFI/RFT processes, perform supplier performance management and risk assessment, manage category and supply chain mechanisms, and possess technical, procurement or commercial knowledge of assets, goods and services applicable to maintenance, repairs or overhauls of equipment.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Australian Citizenship with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Proven commercial acumen and negotiator skills
  • Proven supply base management and strategic sourcing skills
  • Technical, procurement or commercial knowledge of assets, goods and services applicable to maintenance, repairs or overhauls of equipment
