About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at our Melbourne Distribution Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of dispatch and receiving operations, ensuring seamless delivery of products to our stores and customers.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading high-performing teams, with experience in logistics, transportation, and warehouse management. You will be responsible for coordinating the work of others, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and implementing processes to drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of dispatch and receiving operations, including wrapping, shipping, and inventory management
  • Lead a team of up to 10 team members, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles
  • Coordinate the work of others to ensure seamless delivery of products to our stores and customers
  • Implement processes to drive efficiency and productivity, ensuring we meet our operational goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, identifying and mitigating risks to maintain a safe working environment
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse management
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate the work of others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety, with a strong understanding of workplace health and safety protocols
