We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Conquest Recruitment Group. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be the main point of contact for our technical team, providing technical assistance and support to resolve technical issues over the phone.

The role involves:

  • Providing technical assistance and support to resolve technical issues over the phone
  • Providing regular escalation support to technical team and technical partners
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of operational procedures
  • Utilising monitoring tools and system logs to build a detailed issue case
  • Replicating unfamiliar issues in test machines
  • Completing fleet optimisation and preventative tasks
  • Configuring and supporting software and hardware products
  • Cooperating and liaising with technical team and share information across the organization
  • Developing/building working relationship with Next Payments' internal department
  • Liaising and coordinating with external third-party service providers to resolve issues
  • Raising cases for all activities capturing accurate description of incidents/issues
  • Following-up all outstanding cases
  • Providing consistent and accurate information when responding to queries

Requirements:

  • Technical customer service background - you are tech savvy and have a strong IT background
  • You are a team player with exceptional communication skills
  • Have the technical aptitude to problem solve
  • Knowledge of computer management systems
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Strong ability to transfer information, skills and knowledge
  • 2 years previous experience in IT related helpdesk/system operations
  • Exceptional PC skills
