About the Role

The Process Excellence Leader is a strategic and technical leadership role designed to support business growth through process improvement. This role goes beyond traditional process engineering, requiring a strong team player who can lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer site performance.


Main Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams in driving lean transformation efforts and championing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve customer site performance and internal processes.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, mentoring engineers and promoting knowledge sharing.
  • Represent the team in customer meetings and presentations, translating technical insights into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate with service teams to embed lean principles and support the transformation journey.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation, ensuring transparency and alignment on performance and improvement actions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

This role requires a unique blend of skills and qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and leading lean transformation initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with formal training in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies.
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical and control systems, particularly in relation to automated systems.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or second-in-command role, with a track record of strategic thinking and team development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to support decision-making.
  • Experience in managing projects from concept through to completion; familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Customer-facing experience with the ability to translate customer needs into engineering solutions.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
