Strategic Environmental Policy Professional

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Policy Officer. This role is critical in assisting the development and implementation of policies and projects that drive effective environmental and human health outcomes.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Preparation of policy briefings and advice on a range of priorities, including reform initiatives in regulatory, legislative and economic policy;
- Review, evaluation and development of legislative reforms, policies and programs to ensure transparent, consistent and accountable environmental regulations and policies;
- Research, analysis and writing to support the development of policy and legislative reforms;
- Effective communication of technical and complex information, verbally, written and visually;
- A collaborative approach with a willingness to go above and beyond to achieve outcomes;
- Passion and energy, working to deadlines in an agile environment.
