Job Title: Strategic Policy Professional

This role is a vital part of the Accreditation and Implementation team, focusing on developing and implementing accreditation plans that enhance organisation and program data. The ideal candidate will contribute to improving policy standards and systems in line with NSW Accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic policies and procedures for accreditation and implementation planning
  • Carry out operational processes in accordance with Office of the Children's Guardianship (OCG) evidence index requirements and MCFP accreditation plan
  • Undertake continuous improvement initiatives to develop and refine accreditation policies and systems
  • Create, review and maintain policies, procedures and documentation aligned with industry standards and legal requirements
  • Contribute to system implementation and reporting to ensure compliance with practice standards

The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities and a thorough understanding of OOHC legislation and standards.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Services or related field
  • Expert knowledge of OOHC legislation, regulations and standards, including policy development and compliance
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with experience coordinating small teams or committees
  • Prior experience in accreditation, regulatory or compliance roles
  • Project management and change implementation skills
  • Understanding of policy interpretation and implementation
  • Adept at working independently as well as part of a dynamic team
