Management Accountant Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage project costs, work in progress, and revenue.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced finance role with accurate financial reporting and compliance.

You will be responsible for managing and reporting on project costs, WIP, and revenue, as well as providing AP/AR support when needed.

Your duties will include:

  • Accurately and proactively managing and reporting on project costs, WIP, and revenue
  • Handling the month-end process: journals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Providing AP/AR support when needed
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Ensuring compliance and lodging everything on time (BAS, PRT)
  • Maintaining accurate and tidy financial systems (MYOB, Xero, Odoo)

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 3-5 years of experience in a well-rounded finance or management accounting role, with hands-on exposure to project accounting, work in progress, and revenue recognition.

You should be CA or CPA qualified (or well on your way), and confident managing the full finance function with a practical, get-it-done approach.
