The role of Senior Coordinator Engineering Design involves leading a team to create a liveable, safe and sustainable environment through the design of stormwater infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead the S7.11 Stormwater Design team while ensuring all civil stormwater designs meet professional engineering standards.
  • Policy Development: Coordinate and prepare technical stormwater engineering policy documents, research and strategic plans for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Management: Manage overall team financial budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate S7.11 developer contributions stormwater management designs with road infrastructure.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in civil engineering.
  • At least 8 years post-qualification experience in stormwater management infrastructure and cost estimates.
  • Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) qualification and National Engineering Registration (NER).
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing design teams to ensure effective delivery of program activities.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to adapt management approaches for various stormwater, floodplain and road infrastructure management situations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in managing financial budgets and forecasting.
