As a Senior Manager of Specialist Solutions Architects for Startups in APJ, you will lead a team of experts in helping Startups scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS. With a passion for innovation and customer obsession, you will work closely with the most promising Startups in the Asia Pacific and Japan region to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team, where you will be responsible for:

  • Hiring and developing a team of excellent Specialist Solutions Architects who work with Startups in the APJ Region
  • Interacting with CxO/VP level executives, developers, and technical architects to ease adoption and drive top-line revenue
  • Becoming a trusted advisor within customer accounts through Technical Thought Leadership
  • Developing and deploying programs that leverage AWS Field Solution Architect teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels
  • Collaborating with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of technical development, design, and implementation experience
  • 7+ years of experience leading high-performance teams in a matrixed organization
  • 7+ years of management of technical, customer-facing resources
  • 7+ years of experience with at least two of the following technology categories: Compute, Containers, Analytics, Database, AI/ML, Storage
