Sr. Manager of Specialist Solutions Architects

As a Sr. Manager of Specialist Solutions Architects, you will lead a team of solution architects to help Startups in the APJ region adopt AWS' latest technologies, including Compute, Generative AI, Database, Storage, and Containers. You will work with the most promising Startups to help them grow and scale on AWS.

Main Responsibilities

  • Hire and develop a team of excellent Specialist Solutions Architects.
  • Work with CxO/VP level executives, developers, and technical architects to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, and drive top-line revenue.
  • Become a trusted advisor within customer accounts through Technical Thought Leadership.
  • Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field Solution Architect teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.

About the Role

The Sr. Manager of Specialist Solutions Architects will be part of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) team, which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers. We work backwards from our customers' most complex, business-critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of technical development, design, and implementation experience.
  • 7+ years of experience leading high-performance teams in a matrixed organization.
  • 7+ years of management of technical, customer-facing resources.
  • 7+ years of experience with at least two of the following technology categories: Compute, Containers, Analytics, Database, AI/ML, Storage.
