Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of stakeholder and partnerships influencing strategy and its implementation. This role is integral to enhancing strategic relationships with key stakeholders and partners, including Government, industry, and priority sectors such as environment, business, and urban development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive stakeholder and partnerships strategy;
  • Representing the organisation in key government, industry, and professional forums to enhance relationships, brand, and reputation;
  • Facilitating a coordinated approach to external stakeholder management through close collaboration with internal stakeholders;
  • Establishing active and collaborative partnerships across Government, Industry, and priority sectors;
  • Developing and coordinating frameworks to facilitate the sharing of information from stakeholders and partners throughout the organisation.

You will be part of a high-performing team developing strategies and delivering implementation plans while working closely with other teams within the organisation to deliver informed engagement with stakeholders and partners.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Stakeholder and Partnership management or equivalent industry experience;
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of State and Local Government decision-making frameworks, including policy and legislation in relation to the water sector;
  • Demonstrated achievement in stakeholder engagement and strategic partnerships contributing to organisational success;
  • Knowledge and experience in leveraging co-investment into project innovations from Government, Industry, or other partners.
