Key Operations Support Role
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Operations Department, ensuring seamless and efficient operation.
Key duties include:
- Coordinate import and export shipments, including quarantine form completion.
- Schedule daily movements of wharf and rail contractors.
- Respond to operational enquiries over the phone.
- Manage container movements into and out of the branch.
- Perform container audits to ensure compliance.
- Provide administrative, operational, and general assistance to the Operations Team as required.
- Conduct licence and vehicle compliance checks.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- Proven organisational and planning skills.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with various levels of the business.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Outstanding customer service focus.
- General freight background is desirable but not essential.
