As a seasoned Project Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving project success, expanding client relationships, and assisting with business development initiatives across a diverse portfolio of building projects.

  • Lead client-facing project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction through effective project management and collaboration.
  • Assist with business development strategies, identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and nurturing long-term client partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage internal design teams and oversee engineering assessments across complex, multi-client projects, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings to enhance market presence and establish thought leadership.
  • Deliver technically sound and innovative Mechanical designs, reports, and specifications across sectors including health, defence, commercial, and education, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting professional growth and development, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in a design consultancy environment, with a proven track record of client engagement and project leadership.
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong understanding of Mechanical Building Services, including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) design experience on building projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of delivery, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for building client relationships and assisting with growing business pipelines.
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
