We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Electrical Project Leader to lead a critical MSB, MDB, and submain upgrade project at a manufacturing facility in Wacol. This role offers hands-on leadership, technical challenge, and the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated crew and in-house engineering support.


Project Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a technically challenging project with long-term prospects across SEQ. The successful candidate will have the chance to lead a crew of up to six with direct support from a Project Manager and Project Engineer.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement labour, materials, plant and equipment schedules to meet project milestones.
  • Lead changeovers and termination of large submains in a live environment.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, conduct site inductions, and manage safety documentation.
  • Perform hands-on electrical works and supervise trades, apprentices, and assistants.
  • Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with Australian Standards and company policies.
  • Liaise with clients and project managers regarding progress, variations, and documentation.
  • Complete daily checklists, risk assessments, and time sheets.

Requirements
  • Electrical Trade Certificate.
  • Open Driver's Licence.
  • Construction Induction (White Card).
  • CPR & LV Rescue Certification.
  • Previous site supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of standards, procedures, and safe work practices.
  • First Aid Certificate- desirable.
  • ACMA Communication Licences - desirable.
