Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Corporate Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a significant portfolio of corporate clients, taking a proactive approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery. Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Managing a significant portfolio of existing corporate & mid-market accounts
  • Assisting clients in understanding their insurable risk profile and identifying appropriate solutions applicable to their business goals
  • Designing risk transfer solutions, requiring technical expertise across all general insurance lines
  • Managing relationships with underwriting partners locally and overseas
  • Managing your own budget, sales plan & debtors
  • Driving new business development via your own sales plan and assisting the National Sales team where required
  • Contributing to the development of junior staff through mentoring and coaching
  • Promoting our brand within the local business community, the region, and nationally

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced senior broker in a similar role, ideally with exposure to large corporate accounts, plus:

  • Strong account management experience gained within general commercial insurance
  • Excellent time management and stakeholder engagement across all levels
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills complemented by a driven, passionate, and professional disposition
  • Sales orientated with the ability to build a long-term pipeline to support new business growth
  • A proven track record of delivering both financial and operational results
