Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Top End is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join its Board as a Volunteer Director.
Job Description:
The RDA TE Board plays a vital role in guiding the organisation's governance, strategy, and future direction. As a Director, you will be responsible for contributing to sound decision-making, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, and aligning with organisational values.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight and contribute to effective governance.Support the implementation of the Strategic Plan.Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.Actively participate in Board discussions and decision-making.Contribute expertise to sub-committees or special projects.Represent and promote RDA TE to stakeholders and the wider community.Ideal Profile:
To be successful in this role, you will have previous governance or leadership experience in not-for-profit, community, or business settings. You will also possess strong skills in areas such as finance, law, marketing, fundraising, education, health, disability, or equestrian management. A commitment to inclusion and respect for people of all abilities is essential.
