About the RoleThis part-time position (four days a week) plays an important role in supporting children and young people in foster care, including facilitating transitions, coordinating caregiver matches, and ensuring best-practice care.
- Work closely with foster carers, families, and a network of professionals to deliver high-quality care.
- Ensure each child receives specialised care to overcome past experiences and achieve their full potential.
- Facilitate smooth transitions for children and young people in foster care.
- Coordinate optimal caregiver matches to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with foster carers, families, and professionals to provide comprehensive support and guidance.
- Post-secondary qualifications in Welfare, Social Work, Child Development or a related field.
- A valid Victorian driver's licence.
- A current Certificate of CPR and First Aid.
- The ability to create safe environments for children and protect them from abuse and neglect.
