Specialist Foster Care Practitioner

This is an ongoing part-time role, working 4 days a week. The position involves providing specialist care and support to children in foster care.
You will collaborate with foster carers, families, and a network of professionals to ensure each child receives the required care and guidance to overcome past experiences and achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a passion for delivering high-quality care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for children in foster care.
- Collaborate with foster carers and other professionals to ensure consistency in care delivery.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children as needed.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
