Job Title: Security Officer

Protect the safety and security of a residential building during overnight hours.

Monitor and control access to residents, guests, and visitors. Observe and respond to any suspicious activity through CCTV monitoring.

Address noise complaints in a calm and professional manner.

Conduct regular patrols of Level 1, Level 2, and external exit points to maintain high security standards.

Ensure compliance with building by-laws and house rules.

Provide exceptional customer service, assisting residents and guests as needed.

Maintain detailed logs and incident reports.

Liaise with emergency services when necessary.

Operate and manage building systems.

Coordinate mail and parcel returns.

Additional duties may include working with night managers and building managers as directed.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Hold a valid Victorian Private Security Licence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • Standardized uniform provided.
