About Control Room Operators

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a challenging role as a Control Room Operator on a Full-Time basis.

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of security and safety at assigned sites, monitoring surveillance footage, compiling reports, and coordinating an effective security presence.

You will also be tasked with:

  • Monitoring and operating CCTV systems
  • Communicating with emergency services and stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate security incident reports and data logs
  • Critically assessing and responding to situations of risk
  • Operating a two-way radio communication network
  • Access control and managing deployment of security personnel
  • Participating in ongoing training programs

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Security Licence with a Control Room endorsement
  • Strong administrative skills, computer competency, and excellent email etiquette
  • Experience working within a fast-paced team environment and knowledge of Fire-Panels
  • Familiarity with software such as Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and Passagepoint
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • A valid Driver's licence with transport
  • The ability to work collaboratively or independently

Additional Details

This is a shift-based role, requiring flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
