About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vendor & Facilities Specialist to join our team at Medibank Private Limited. As a key member of our property and operations teams, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and effective day-to-day operational support.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop partnerships with Medibank's Service Partners and work closely with the Vendor Relationship Manager to seek ways to improve efficiencies, better service members and staff, reduce costs, and continuously evolve processes.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high standard of communication that is positive, collaborative, and solutions-focused between Medibank and its suppliers.
  • Work collaboratively with Medibank's outsourced facilities management provider and other vendors to ensure delivery of services to Medibank.
  • Financial oversight of vendor and landlord related FM works, ensuring verification of works and invoicing is in line with DOA authority limits.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health, and safety standards to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements within supplier management processes.
  • Provide accurate and timely distribution of reports to key account contacts and stakeholders.
  • Prompt review and approval of work orders raised through an online portal.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience supporting and working with vendors in a similar role. You should have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a keen eye for detail.

You should be comfortable wearing multiple hats, enjoy multitasking, and understand the importance of time management and prioritizing. Additionally, you should have demonstrated experience in day-to-day management of business relationships, financial acumen, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
