We are seeking a skilled Compliance and Regulatory Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating VWFS's regulatory change and compliance framework.

">Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate regulatory and compliance change activities for VSFSA, including distributing regulatory alerts, actioning responses and assisting with regulatory change impact reviews.
  • Assist the Operational Risk and Compliance team with operational tasks, including reporting, maintaining the compliance calendar and reporting using the Protecht GRC system.
  • Assist with the coordination of regulatory / industry consultation responses and feedback.
  • Accurately maintain registers, including regulatory correspondence register and regulatory change roadmap.
  • Assist with the hindsight review process, including reviewing, documenting and reporting on results from hindsight reviews.
">Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory obligations including in relation to ASIC, AUSTRAC and OAIC.
  • Tertiary education in business, finance and/ or law is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to understand and respond to the needs of internal and external customers.
  • Attention to detail including the ability to effectively review information, noting errors, discrepancies and/or trends.
  • Knowledge of complaints handling and/ or collections activities.
  • Experience in asset finance is preferred.
  • Communication skills including some experience in an advisory capacity preferred.
