Disaster Recovery Support Officer

This role is an opportunity to make a positive impact in your community during times of need.

We are seeking highly motivated and resilient individuals to join our team as Disaster Recovery Support Officers. As part of a large recovery team, you will be responsible for providing assistance to members of the community affected by recent weather events.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong interpersonal skills, empathy and flexibility. Your current or previous work experience should demonstrate these skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.

  • Provide support to members of the community affected by disaster
  • Work collaboratively as part of a large recovery team
  • Use excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Working Hours: 6.00am - 1.30pm, or 2.00pm - 9.30pm; 7-day rotating roster (38 hours/ week)

Location: Woolloongabba
