Cybersecurity Leader

About the Role:

The Cybersecurity Leader will oversee the development of robust defence strategies tailored to telecommunications security requirements, ensuring the creation of solutions to counter diverse threats. This role requires a high level of expertise in cybersecurity and the ability to lead a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, mentor, and develop an outstanding security team, fostering continuous learning and growth.
  • Develop defence strategies tailored to telco security requirements, creating solutions to counter diverse threats.
  • Assess existing security controls, processes, and systems, recommending improvements to strengthen the digital bulwark.
  • Collaborate with the Red Team on offensive testing exercises and purple teaming to enhance detection and control measures.
  • Champion proactive threat hunting in telecommunications, developing a strong understanding of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a member of defensive security teams, with experience leading security teams.
  • Experience working in telecommunications, with a deep understanding of the global threat landscape.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and threat hunting methodologies.
