The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Network and Telecommunications Engineer who will play a key role in our Digital Team, maintaining our IT infrastructure and driving upgrade projects across our business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to join our team and contribute to our growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain our IT infrastructure, including networks, telephony, and applications.
  • Implement and document robust maintenance protocols to ensure system stability and data integrity.
  • Architect and deploy scalable, secure network infrastructures that meet our evolving business needs.
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of core network systems, using proactive troubleshooting and system evaluations to minimize downtime and improve performance.
  • Provide clear technical updates to stakeholders and maintain detailed operational documentation.

Technical Expertise:

  • Hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies and telephony integration platforms.
  • Proficient in configuring and managing network devices and site-to-site VPN setups.
  • Thorough understanding of routing protocols, IP addressing, and subnetting strategies.
  • Skillled in system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performing critical health checks.
  • Familiarity with SQL/T-SQL, Windows Server, Active Directory, Citrix, VMware, DHCP, and DNS administration.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Industry recognised certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and telecommunications.
